e2train, a leading provider of learning and performance management systems and services, today announces that it has acquired Intraventure, a provider of succession planning, talent and performance management software and services.

e2train's acquisition of Intraventure brings together two of the UK’s leading edge HR and learning software providers. e2train is the UK’s largest supplier of learning and performance management systems and services. It recently announced a new version of its LMS with new powerful features for managers, learners and learning professionals, including a state-of-the-art identity provider tool. Intraventure’s web-based technology systems include 81Boxes (www.81Boxes.com) which is a SaaS based succession planning and talent management application. Both organisations work for leading blue chip organisations and governmental bodies.

e2train Managing Director and CEO Rob Caul said, “These are exciting times for e2train and this acquisition significantly enhances e2train’s position in the marketplace. Intraventure’s suite of talent and succession planning software complements e2train’s learning and performance software perfectly and with the integrated solution will present a compelling offering to its existing and prospective customers.

In July last year, e2train celebrated 10 years in business. In August, the company announced substantial year-on-year growth of 26% for its Learning and Performance software and services.

Intraventure Managing Director Kevin Crane is delighted to be joining e2train. Commented Kevin: “There is an excellent fit between our organisations. This guarantees the future development of the Intraventure suite of software which will be great news for our current client base and will open up new opportunities for existing and new e2train customers.”

Intraventure and e2train share a common vision to help organisations improve their effectiveness through better performance and development of their workforce. “Employee development and talent management is a critical challenge for any knowledge-based organisation. It makes sense to manage those processes through an end-to-end software platform”, said Rob Caul. “The benefits of this integrated solution and the broader range of services will allow us to support customers on a whole new level.”
