Building on the success of its AICC certified Kallidus®6 learning management system, e2train has today announced the release of Kallidus® v7.0, an affordable system which enables organisations to deploy, manage and report on learning via an Intranet or the Internet.

Using the latest .NET technology, Kallidus® v7.0 retains the many features of version 6, but offers additional functionality in the form of; a skills and competency module, multiple course catalogues, as well as a module for managing classroom based training events to provide a truly integrated blended approach. In addition to the Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC) standards, the system is fully SCORM compliant to level 1.2.

Kallidus® v7.0 will make learning management accessible to a wide range of organisations enabling them to deploy targeted and just-in-time learning whilst optimising expenditure and reducing the costs of delivering and managing training resources.

The system is easy to install and implement without tying up internal IT resources, and, integrated with Kallidus®6 advanced authoring tool, it will enable organisations to benefit from detailed reporting of learning and assessment activities.

Rob Caul, Managing Director of e2train, said "The launch of Kallidus® v7.0 further demonstrates our commitment to providing total learning solutions to meet the needs of our clients, helping them to deliver and manage training that is relevant, consistent and cost effective."

Organisations already benefiting from the Kallidus® systems include: RAF, South Wales Police, Hartpury College, The Charity Commission, Carmarthenshire County Council, Coventry Building Society, Nationwide Trust and Rank Hovis.
