JZero Solutions have today officially released JLMS version 5.0, it's flagship product in a suite of online learning management tools.

JLMS 5.0 has had it's user interface completely overhauled and now presents end users with a fresh, touch centric user experience. In addition to the user interface upgrade, JLMS 5.0 has many new features added for the benefit of end users.

In addition to the wealth of functionality already available in version 4, the new features of JLMS 5.0 include support for all major browsers, content keyword tagging, easier end user interface localisation, updated user profile options, enhanced search capability, add video content to news items, new password reset function, content ratings, direct course uploads for administrators, bulk user data import, new graphical manager dashboard, integration with Webex and Adobe Connect for virtual classroom training.

EC Harris, the leading global built asset consultancy, recently upgraded to JLMS 5.0 and it's L&D Consultant, Alison Mitchell, said:

"JLMS 5.0 is the platform upon which the new EC Harris Academy is based.  We launched in January and feedback from users has been extremely positive.  The look and feel of the Academy is intuitive and fresh compared to the previous version.  EC Harris encourages personal ownership of learning and the Academy provides users with the capability to manage their own learning in the office, at home or on the move."

JLMS 5.0 makes the online learning experience for end users much more personal, by providing the ability to make personalisation updates to their profile and menu items, plus being able to see how they are performing against company averages and targeted content based on organisational groupings.

Users can record their own Continuing Professional Development achievements against their overall corporate learning record and JLMS 5.0 provides this for the user to download as a PDF report.

A searchable reference library makes companywide documents available to all users via a single interface, whilst classroom training events can be accessed for booking onto directly from the user home page.

Administrators now have the ability to perform their regular admin tasks directly from the new Admin Toolbar within the end user interface, making the management of learning much easier and more productive.

"The development process for this upgrade was a fairly long one, as we wanted to make sure we were adding features than would benefit all users of the system", said Matt Eggby, Technology Operations Director at JZero Solutions. "I firmly believe we have produced a much more engaging product which will make the management of learning an easier process and the actual online learning experience so much better for the learners themselves."

JZero Solutions' new version of JLMS provides a host of new features to all of it's system users, coupled with a brand new and fresh user interface making online learning much more visual and engaging.

Existing clients of JZero who are using the previous version of JLMS can also benefit from a free system upgrade to version 5.0
