JLMS Cloud from JZero Solutions added to the Tin Can Adopters list
JZero Solutions have announced that their JLMS Cloud SaaS Learning Management System has been added to the Tin Can adopters listing, verifying that xAPI content can be loaded and launched, with data tracking to the built-in LRS.
After a review by Rustici Software's Tin Can specialists, JLMS Cloud has been verified and added to the list of Tin Can Adopters.
This now means that Tin Can compliant content can be uploaded into a JLMS Cloud site, along with other content types such as SCORM and non-compliant content like Word, PDF and HTML courses.
As quoted on the Tin Can website:

You can access JLMS Cloud from any device, making it easier to manage your training from wherever you are. JLMS Cloud supports the Tin Can API to allow you to upload your Tin Can compliant learning content and store the learning data in our built-in LRS."
The Tin Can API (also know as Experience API or xAPI) is a brand new specification for learning technology that makes it possible to collect data about a wide range or experiences a person has in their learning journey. When an activity needs to be recorded, the application send secure statements in the form of "Noun, Verb, Object" or more simply put, "I did this" to the LRS (Learning Record Store).
"We are always striving to make sure that we are including the latest learning technologies into our products", said Matt Eggby, Technology Operations Director at JZero Solutions. "Getting added to the Tin Can Adopters list is the first step for us in embracing the Experience API into our product set and we will now be working to embed this into our JLMS Enterprise product too and then expand further on the functionality available with this new specification".
The team at JZero Solutions are working on an agressive development roadmap to add many new features into their LMS products, such as Social and Gamification, User Generated Content, a new reporting module and an overhaul of the email and communications functionality.
