Jenison will be exhibiting at the Professional Associations Research Network (PARN) Spring Conference on the 30th April at the Royal College of Nursing in London.

PARN is a non-profit membership organisation for professional bodies, offering expertise, experience and perspective on key issues in the sector through research, consultancy, networking, events and training.

Conrad Hamer, from Jenison, reflects: “With Professional Associations, including the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Royal Society of Chemistry, already using the Jenison library of online learning for staff development we were conscious that this conference gave us the opportunity to showcase to other Professional Associations what we can provide.”

The conference title of “Inspiring Young People: Members of Tomorrow” brings together the latest thinking on the challenges of engaging, recruiting and retaining younger members. This conference will study two themes on apprenticeships and higher education, providing valuable insight into how to engage with young members as they progress to become a full member of their chosen professional body.

Conrad adds: “I am conscious that as well as the Learning and Development needs of internal staff at Professional Associations being met through the Jenison library the Associations members could also use the 550 titles in the library to meet some of their more generic L&D needs. Once again this Conference provides us with the opportunity to highlight and discuss this.”
