Jenison have now formalised the Charity Learning Consortium as a partnership with LM Matters. The consortium was set up in 2001 to enable like-minded people in the voluntary sector to share best practice and resources about training with its primary focus to support members in their use of elearning. The involvement of Jenison as a partner in the consortium provides Jenison's market leading Management and IT elearning courses in a cost effective way to members. The consortium also works with other training providers to ensure a supply of training appropriate and relevant to the needs of those working in the voluntary sector.

The consortium aims to source appropriate courseware and negotiate the best deals for their members. Members are able to benefit from the buying power of the consortium as well as from networking with other members at meetings and electronically.

Martin Baker, Managing Partner of the Consortium commented that "The aim of the consortium is to share best practice and resources. Members value the ability to share experience, both successes and learning from each other on areas that didn't go so well. The sharing and support is a key benefit together with the buying power of the consortium as a group."

Existing members of the consortium include The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Leonard Cheshire, Macmillan Cancer Support, Independent Age, WRVS, The Football Foundation, The Royal British Legion, The Princes Trust, Retail Trust, Carr Gomm, Refugee Legal Centre, The Royal Society, Nottinghamshire Community Housing Association.
