Remote working course for productivity and mental health

iAM Learning has launched a remote working course for conscientious employers looking for ways to support their teams during these unprecedented times.

Remote Working 101 is a short course, broken down into 10 video lessons that cover everything from personal productivity to mental health warning signs and advice on dealing with stress.

Learners will gain the skills they need to keep safe and productive and discover essential advice and resources to support their mental health and wellbeing – something the eLearning content providers at iAM Learning feel is more important now than ever before.

“We know everyone is focused on the practicalities of remote working right now and this is important to keep business moving,” explained Tom Moore, iAM Learning COO: “but we wanted to offer content that supported the things around that - like being productive, time management and, most importantly, mental health.”

Holly Helps, marketing manager, added: “Mental health and wellbeing can’t be an afterthought. With so much uncertainty in the world, we have to find ways to support each other. That’s where this course came from. If it helps just one person, it will be worth it.”

The animated course is designed to help everyone, from total newbies to experienced remote workers, and includes engaging videos that cover:

  • Lone working
  • Personal productivity
  • Computer Workstations (DSE)
  • Time management
  • Communication skills
  • Collaborative problem solving
  • Understanding anxiety
  • Dealing with stress
  • Mental health warning signs
  • Depression and low mood

Completely free, the course can be taken online or businesses with their own Learning Management System can choose to download the SCORM files and add the course to their own learning platform. It’s theirs to keep.

The course is available via the iAM website: Remote Working 101.
