Certified B Corps seek to provide a balance between purpose, people and profit. They don’t solely focus on boosting their bottom line. This means Growth Engineering will have a renewed focus on their team members, customers, suppliers and the environment in general.
To achieve B Corp Certification, Growth Engineering had to update their Articles of Association to ensure they are focused on creating a material positive impact on society. They also needed to pass an extensive Impact Assessment.
In achieving this certification, Growth Engineering joins a community of well-known and inspiring global businesses. This includes Patagonia, Ben and Jerry’s, Brewdog, Innocent Drinks and many others.
This is the perfect conclusion to a 12-month period where Growth Engineering have:
- Planted 20,000+ trees via Ecologi.
- Offset 520+ tonnes of carbon via Ecologi.
- Joined climate group Tech Zero.
- And partnered with Inclusion Crowd.
Growth Engineering’s Managing Director, Juliette Denny, was delighted with the news:
“We are honoured to be a part of the B Corp community. We’ve set out to make an impact and we’re committed to doing this in the right way. Now, we are leading the learning technology industry towards a more sustainable future, one engaging training programme at a time!”
And Kate Peever, Growth Engineering’s Compliance & Sustainability Manager, had the following to say:
“Becoming a Certified B Corp is a perfect reflection of our values. I’m so excited for the rest of this journey as Growth Engineering continues to be a force for good across learning, tech and the world!”
