Learning impact experts Growth Engineering have won two gold awards at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Awards. These awards were won in partnership with L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific.

L’Oréal Travel Retail utilises Growth Engineering’s mobile app solution, The Knowledge Arcade. As the global pandemic swept across Asia, L’Oréal’s Beauty Advisors were locked down and placed on leave. There was no longer an obligation for their users to log into their learning solution. However, during the height of the COVID-19 crisis, from January to June of 2020, engagement levels reached record-breaking highs.

As a result, Growth Engineering and L’Oréal Travel Retail submitted entries for and ultimately won gold awards in the following Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Award categories:

  • Best Advance in Social Learning Technology
  • Best Advance in Performance Support Technology for Crisis Management

A panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, and Brandon Hall senior analysts and executives evaluated the entries based on the following criteria:

  • Product: Does the solution offer innovation or some kind of breakthrough?
  • Unique differentiators: Is the solution sufficiently different from its competitors?
  • Value proposition: Does the solution solve or address a particular problem?
  • Measurable results: What benefits did the customer experience from utilising this solution?

Brandon Hall Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Mike Cooke, had the following to say about the importance of the Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Awards: ‘The Excellence Award in Technology emphasizes the value of collaboration between HCM leaders, business leaders and technology developers. To win, everyone must work together to meet the needs of all stakeholders, especially the end-users. Technology Award winners met this challenge and created value for everyone.’

Growth Engineering’s Managing Director, Juliette Denny, was delighted with the news: ‘It’s been a crazy year, with its own share of ups and downs, so we are absolutely thrilled to end 2020 on a high note. Our team has been working hard to create learning technology solutions that drive real impact within organisations. These awards are a testament to our ability to deliver against our stated goal. Congratulations to everybody involved, particularly our amazing client partners in L’Oréal Travel Retail.’

Growth Engineering have now won more than 100 industry awards and accolades since 2012.
