Juliette Denny, Managing Director of the learning technologies company Growth Engineering, has been recognised as one of the most prominent thought leaders in online learning for the third year in a row.

The annual eLearning Movers and Shakers list, compiled by Bob Little PR, was published yesterday, ranking the 100 most influential people in online learning.

Juliette was awarded ‘Premier Platinum’ status, recognising her continued prominence and importance within the industry. This is the third year Juliette has been listed among the top movers and shakers in the world of online learning.

Each year, Bob Little PR selects a panel of independent judges to put forward a selection of names that should be considered for the Movers and Shakers list. It is then cut down and the top 100 are ranked.

The list represents the views of key figures within the online learning landscape. The criteria for inclusion is set out below:

·         The list includes people from all over the world. The greater their sphere of influence, the higher their ranking on the list.

·         Academics are only considered in terms of their influence on the corporate world.

·         The list is compiled based on a person’s perceived current influence on the online learning industry - as a practitioner, commentator, facilitator and/or thought leader. Judges consider the work and influence of ‘pure’ industry practitioners, including those who are active behind the scenes, as well as the influence of social media users and bloggers.

Juliette founded Growth Engineering in 2004. Since then, it has gone from strength to strength to become one of the UK’s leading learning technologies companies, with clients based all around the world and more than 40 major industry awards in their trophy cabinet.

Juliette’s passion is all about learner engagement. This has led to a focus on gamification, social learning and epic meaning. In turn, this led to the development of the world’s leading NextGen LMS and a ground-breaking mobile app solution.

Juliette said of the list: “I am super excited to have been ranked so highly on the list for another year! I am particularly proud of the fact that women head each section of the Top 100! Female presence in particularly disproportionate within technology-focused industries, so I am beyond thrilled to be helping to lead the charge. At Growth Engineering, we’re constantly working to stay ahead of the trend. The future of online learning is ripe with potential and we’re working to make it even better!”
