Zombie Learners Everywhere Hiding in Terror as Growth Engineering Win Big at Learning Awards
Growth Engineering won two awards at the 21st Learning Awards which took place on February 2nd at The Dorchester in London. The awards are an industry-established benchmark for excellence. They recognise outstanding examples of best practice and innovation within the learning and development industry. This year, Growth Engineering and their clients added two more awards to their trophy cabinet, receiving gold in the ‘Onboarding Programme of the Year’ category and silver in the ‘External Learning Solution of the Year’ category.
Steinhoff UK Retail (who are the parent company of furniture giants Bensons for Beds and Harveys) took home the gold for their extremely effective onboarding programme. Their programme is a streamlined process combining both online learning and physical workshops. The team have managed to create an onboarding programme which successfully caters for a range of different brands across the company and brings everything together under one banner. In fact, the onboarding programme has been so successful that the time taken to train new starters has dropped from nine months to six.
The silver ‘External Learning Solution of the Year’ was awarded to House of Fraser who are among the most well-known department store brands in the UK with over 60 locations. Their platform is an example of how visually impressive a learning management platform can look. The team have utilised customisation options to fully embed their brand throughout the platform and reflect their mission and values.
