The British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards (BESMA) are organised by the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) – the UK’s largest professional sales body.

BESMA seeks to reward the efforts of the individuals and the teams that drive company performance and recognises the roles played by sales professionals in driving the UK economy forward.

Growth Engineering earned its place in the finals for its fully online approach to delivering ISMM-accredited sales training and qualifications. The content was developed using Growth Engineering’s unique Discovery Method, which gets learners to reflect on their own experiences to apply their new knowledge in context, and to personalise the online learning journey.

The content was developed to meet the ISMM’s standards, and is delivered using Growth Engineering’s gamified, social Academy LMS. Learners complete an online learning unit and then upload an assignment to the Academy. This gets sent to assessors who then pass it or return it with feedback.

Growth Engineering licenses this sales training to its existing Academy LMS clients, and also offers it to everyone through its dedicated website – Sales Superstars.

More than 1,000 salespeople have now engaged with Growth Engineering’s sales training, including 250 on the other side of the planet, in Australia.

Juliette Denny, Managing Director of Growth Engineering, said: “Hearing this news was an absolute joy! We’ve provided one of the biggest ever roll-outs of quality ISMM-accredited sales training thanks to our 100% online approach, so it’s fantastic to get some recognition. Now we just have to prove to the judges that we deserve to win!”

The next stage of the awards involves making presentations to judges. Growth Engineering will present on November 10.

The winners will then be announced at an Awards Ceremony on March 9, at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
