Growth Engineering, a multi-award winning learning technologies company, has been shortlisted in three categories at this year’s E-Learning Awards.

The E-Learning Awards were established in 2005 to recognise and celebrate e-learning excellence. It is one of the most celebrated, independently judged awards scheme within the sector.

This year attracted more entries than ever, and the 35-strong judging panel had to whittle down more than 400 entries to a shortlist of 145. Growth Engineering was shortlisted for three separate entries:

Growth Engineering itself has been shortlisted again in the ‘e-learning age Outstanding Learning Organisation’ category, after winning the category last year.

This year’s entry focused on the company’s growth, the new features which have been added to its Academy Learning Management System, and the launch of its game-based content authoring tool Genie.

Genie, the game-based content authoring tool, was also recognised on its own in the ‘Most Innovative New Learning Product’ category.

Genie’s template system lets people build game-based learning projects by slotting in their assets and questions. Though it’s only recently been released to consumers, Growth Engineering’s Academy LMS clients have already been using it to deliver impressive ROI.

GAME Learning Zone, built by Growth Engineering and GAME Retail Ltd, has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Learning Management System Implementation’ category. It’s a fully-branded, online learning management system packed with a stream of interactive content, as well as social and gamification features to keep learners engaged.

Though it only launched in April 2015, it’s already delivering made an impact on GAME’s sales figures. Their learners have also shown high levels of engagement with the platform and its social features, using it to communicate and share with their colleagues nationwide.

Juliette Denny, Managing Director of Growth Engineering, said: “If we keep winning recognition at this rate, we’re going to have to invest in a dedicated trophy room!

“It’s truly an honour to be in the running for these awards, and we’ll make sure we bring our A-game to the next stage!”

The next stage of the awards involves presentations to judges at the end of September. The winners will then be decided and announced at a gala evening on November 25 at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel
