GlobalEnglish’s on-demand Business English development suite will replace BT’s legacy English learning programs globally for increased business performance and ROI

Brisbane, Calif., September 3, 2013 - GlobalEnglish Corporation (www.GlobalEnglish.com), the leading provider of on-demand solutions to advance the Business English proficiency of global organisations, has announced today that of the world's leading providers of communications services and solutions, BT Group plc, has reached a long-term agreement with GlobalEnglish to provide Business English learning and performance support solutions for the company's global workforce.

BT will empower non-native English-speaking employees by providing on-demand access to the GlobalEnglish Suite of Business English learning tools. The GlobalEnglish Suite provides formal and informal Business English learning (including virtual blended learning), instant on-the-job support for business tasks in English, adaptive Business English assessments and the ability to measure usage and proficiency improvements across the company.

BT developed a business case for implementing GlobalEnglish worldwide following a successful pilot program of GlobalEnglish's services in 18 countries across Europe, Asia and Latin America. During the pilot, 91 percent of BT employees said they would be likely to recommend the GlobalEnglish service to a friend or colleague, and 89 percent of BT employees agreed that GlobalEnglish is relevant to their job. The outstanding positive feedback enabled BT to develop a strong business case for a implementing the GlobalEnglish Suite across the company.

By using a single, consistent, scalable and measurable solution worldwide, BT believes it can achieve significant efficiencies and service improvements.
