Global Knowledge announces the launch of 'Total Learning Approach' and the formation of a new Learning Services division to provide organisations with greater value from investments in learning; a new modular approach to outsourced training.

Global Knowledge's Learning Services division brings together expertise in IT training, project management and contract management to provide customers with the learning and development support needed to develop workforces in line with business goals.

"Organisations now recognise the value of learning and development as a genuine business enabler, but with costs under pressure and a strategic need to focus on core activities, businesses are increasingly looking to external agencies to support, or manage completely, their learning programmes and outcomes", says Janet Way, Learning Services Manager at Global Knowledge.

Our measured response is to apply methodologies and processes that identify risks and ensure, as a supplier, we can act seamlessly and provide learning services in tune with business strategy. For example mapping job roles and staff competencies to make sure the right people are identified for the right learning and that learning really adds value to the business," continued Janet Way.

"Global Knowledge has put a dedicated Learning Services team in place to manage every project and to make sure each client gets the right tailor-made service. The approach Global Knowledge has developed is both modular and all-encompassing so it can meet the full spectrum of requirements."
