Global Knowledge launches on-line bookshop

Global Knowledge, Europe's leading provider of learning services for IT and management professionals, has launched a new web site - www.gkbookshop.co.uk - that will enable customers to purchase a broad range of business and IT titles that complement the training they receive in the classroom.

Global Knowledge is working in partnership with Computer Bookshops to provide the service. Jane Dickinson, Sales Manager at Computer Bookshops states: "We are delighted to be able to offer this service to Global Knowledge's customers. We have a broad range of competitively-priced titles available that will enable students to get more depth and value out of their training."

Steve Philp, UK Marketing Director at Global Knowledge adds: "Specialist IT books can act as useful preparation material for anyone that is about to attend a training course or as valuable reference and development support tools after the training has taken place. This new service will enable our customers to go into courses ready to derive maximum benefit from the training and to keep on adding to their knowledge after they have attended."

Global Knowledge is initally offering offering books on areas such as Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL, Java CompTIA and Oracle courses and examinations on www.gkbookshop.co.uk. It plans to offer a wider range of titles as it develops both its own curriculum and the web site.

The bookshop has been introduced as as part of Global Knowledge's strategy to offer additional value to its customer base and to reinforce the company's position as the leading provider of high quality IT training in the EMEA region.
