Global Knowledge, a leading provider of enterprise learning services for IT and management professionals, will be running the new VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3: Installation and Configuration course from February this year at its four training locations throughout the UK.

Global Knowledge will be working in association with Magirus, one of Europe's leading IT infrastructure and solutions providers, to provide authorised VMware training to its wide range of public and private sector customers.

Adam Murphy, Product Manager at Global Knowledge, said: “VMware is server and desktop virtualization software that helps IT departments turn single physical machines into several virtual ones running side-by-side, thereby giving IT departments greater resource utilisation and flexibility. We expect virtualisation to emerge in the years ahead as a fundamental IT building block and as such the demand professional virtualisation skills and skills in the use of products like VMware will increase.”

“A large number of our clients have asked us about VMware training and there are a limited number of training providers available to them in the UK. This partnership with Magirus enables our customers to have greater access to VMware courses at locations they are familiar with.”

“Later in 2007 we will also start to run advanced VMware courses,” added Adam Murphy.
