Curation, consumer technology and brain science of learning at eLearning Network event
CSO of Filtered attends eLN’s Empowering your Digital Learning event this week to discuss how machine learning, algorithms and human curation work together to create useful learning recommendations
Members of the eLearning Network (eLN) will be meeting in Central Manchester on Friday 7 July for a day of disruptive discussion at Empowering Your Digital Learning. The key question that members of the 3000 strong non-profit community interest company will address is: How do people really learn new skills and solve problems in a digital world, and what does that mean for learning technologies practitioners?
The event will run from 9:30am - 4:30pm with five different speakers from across the learning and development industry. Filtered’s CSO, Chris Littlewood will be sharing with members how to achieve the perfect learning recommendation. In this talk, Chris will discuss how machine learning, algorithms, and human curation can work together to generate useful learning recommendations. As well as the Innovate UK funded project that is seeking to close the widening productivity gap in the UK.
Other speakers include Ben Betts from HT2 Labs; Stella Collins, Author of Neuroscience in Learning and Development; Mark Berthelemy, CEO of Wyver Solutions; and James McLuckie, Director of GoodPractice.
How to register
Members of the eLN will be able to attend this event at no extra cost. Non-members will be required to join the eLN community for a fee of £29 in order to attend the event. Complimentary refreshments will be available to all on the day.
