The final two parts of the 2024 Digital Learning Realities reports looks at the learning technology landscape and learning experience.

The reports asks how organisations are evolving their use of learning technology, how it fits with the wider HR tech infrastructure and about expectations and satifsfaction with learning technology.

A stubborn majority of LMS and LXP buyers continue to be underwhelmed by their learning systems. When asked how good a fit their learning platforms are for the modern workforce and only four in ten agree. And the bad news is that the gap between those who are positive and negative about the experience their solution provides is growing.

Best of breed learning platforms, despite their challenges remain as the first choice for most L&D teams. Very few use the learning functionality in their bigger and more expensive HCM and talent systems.
