CheltenhamLearning NewsEnterprise Study Ltd

High quality provider of social housing in the South East, The Hyde Group is now delivering a comprehensive blended learning programme with the support of Enterprise Study to ensure its staff are adequately equipped to service customers and deliver excellent customer care.

The Hyde Group has won numerous awards, including Best Regeneration Project (Packington), to Internal Recruitment Communications for their website. Pivotal to that success are the 1,250 staff working for the organisation, who receive stringent training from the learning and development team in the following core areas: health and safety, compliance, fire threat, data protection and avoiding violence.

In 2011, The Hyde Group fully migrated to the ES Learning Management System (LMS), having already been familiar with the system through its learning provider, Thales Training. The solution allows the organisation to deliver a blended learning programme that comprises of Classroom Learning, E-Learning and webinars, with all content hosted on the ES cloud based server.

The organisation now benefits from streamlined course booking management, detailed reporting which is integrated with other aspects of the HR function, post-course evaluations and appropriate workflow and authorisations to manage course attendance.  The ES Compliance Manager module has also been switched on as part of the LMS, allowing The Hyde Group to ensure certain statutory and mandatory standards are met, using reports to evidence to their regulatory bodies.

Tobias Yates, HR Delivery Manager at The Hyde Group is extremely impressed by the accessibility of information, which is key to their proactive approach to training delivery for him and his team: "Just having a system that's there and available is a huge benefit to us, compared to having to do everything manually. We could in theory use Outlook to book courses, but having the course booking, evaluations and reports linked in one system saves significantly on admin time."

Henry Jodrell, Managing Director, also comments: "We are excited about the opportunity to support such an award winning social housing group.  The ES solution was designed to be easy to use and to save companies both time and money; we are delighted that The Hyde Group are realising these benefits."
