Enterprise Study announces new MS Exchange Calendar Connector for better communications
The MS Exchange Calendar Connector eliminates the need to manage two calendars with the ability to synchronise their Enterprise Study calendar with Outlook calendars in real time.
In discussion with its customers, Enterprise Study learnt that they wanted to eliminate the need to manage two calendars separately, with the ability to synchronise their Enterprise Study calendar with Outlook calendars in real time.
Enterprise Study is delighted to announce that the new MS Exchange Calendar Connector is now in testing. The MS Exchange Calendar Connector allows users to add and amend diary entries either in the ES calendar or Outlook calendar and both will be updated instantly.
Mentor Group is the first to deploy the new Connector and is due to start testing in early March. Mentor is a people performance consultancy that supports leading organisations to ensure they achieve and exceed their business goals, ensuring their talent and business strategies align to achieve business objectives.
The EC Connector will be available to ES TAS customers, i.e. Training Providers, in Phase I, with availability for ES eLMS customers coming later in the year. To ensure integrity of the central calendar, remote and Outlook users will not be able to overwrite a calendar event created by someone else, which will ensure authorisation and controls within the ES system are maintained.
What it does allow, is flexibility and consistency across calendar systems, so an instructor in the field can access their personal Outlook diary and be confident that it is accurate and up to date, without having to log in to the ES system to double check.
This new Connector will make for more efficient diary management, particularly for remote users, and minimise diary errors, such as double bookings. Just another simple yet effective way that Enterprise Study is responding to its customers to help them transform learning. This complements Enterprise Study's new SMS Messaging Connector, which enables notifications such as calendar reminders and evaluation reminders to delegates via text message.
