Enterprise Study and Quanta Training announce the successful completion of the first two month's live operation of the web-enabled training business management system. Already, 22% of all bookings are being made online bringing major benefits to Quanta and their customers.

Enterprise Study Platform (ESP), released last year, is a complete administration and management system for those running a training operation. As well as handling all the main functions required for a training business, it incorporates a full e-commerce web-based front end that allows customers to make, manage and pay for all their bookings online.

"ESP allows us to offer a value-added service to our clients," explained Julian Ward, Quanta's founder and Managing Director. "In addition it has streamlined admin and back-office operations, freeing up time previously spent on manual administration systems."

Initial response from Quanta's customers has been enthusiastic. "They were over the moon," said Ward. "They found the system easy to use and much quicker than using paper and the telephone." Quanta found that every customer, without exception, had some kind of spreadsheet system to manage bookings, with the attendant problems of data entry, maintenance and error checking. Now all that was unnecessary, as the system provided the facilities they needed automatically.

"Quanta are one of several training operations that are realising the benefits that ESP can bring," said Richard Williams, Sales & Marketing Director at Enterprise Study. "ESP is unique in its use of modern web-enabled capabilities and its ability to integrate with other financial or training systems."

New implementations of ESP in training vendors and in corporate training departments are going live at around one a month. New users are finding that the system not only makes it easier to administer and manage their businesses, but that it can also lead to increased revenues.

"It far exceeded our expectations," said Ward. "We can now see a time in the not too distant future when the vast majority of our bookings will be via the web. It also helps grow the business. As one of our customers said: 'It's a very good reason for keeping our training with you. Lots of your competitors have nothing like this'."
