Corporate enterprises to get skills audit and supply solution

Learning NewsEnterprise Study Ltd

Enterprise Study, the developer of the ESP training business administration platform, is to work in a new alliance with InfoBasis, a leading developer of skills auditing software, to offer corporate enterprises a seamless skills auditing and training supply solution.

InfoBasis' skills audit software shows managers exactly what skills are present around their organisations, enabling them quickly to identify potential people for new projects and highlighting any skills gaps where they need to develop their people through training. By integrating Infobasis software with ESP, managers will now have the option to plug any skills gaps by immediately allocating the appropriate training for each of the people in the team from their company's list of approved suppliers. Employees, too, will benefit by having their own personal training plans clearly mapped out, aligned both to their assessments and to company objectives.

Richard Williams, Director, Enterprise Study said: "ESP software is aimed at the same users as InfoBasis's software, that is business, IT, training and HR managers involved in the development of people. Both software products fulfil a different, yet sequential, part of management's requirements in identifying what skills are present and what skills are needed, and then in sourcing the most appropriate training solution from their training providers. InfoBasis and Enterprise Study are ideal partners because our software systems complement each other for all levels of user, up to and including major corporates.

"This partnership enables users to form a training plan rapidly that accurately reflects the needs of the business," notes Ashley Wheaton, Infobasis CEO.

"Both the InfoBasis software and ESP are written in .NET technology running on SQL Server platforms, so integration, both for ourselves and our users is easily attainable," added Wheaton.
