High Demand Leads to New Intake on Digital Marketing MSc

Digital marketing specialist Econsultancy has announced that they have filled the first January intake for their market-leading MSc in Digital Marketing Communications, having launched the new intake date at the end of last year due to exceptionally high demand for places during 2009.
The 15 new students will join over 50 others already on the course from a range of different organisations including the British Council, Acknowledgement and Brahm (digital agencies), Jaydeo (app development), Mindshare and UK Apollo Group (training and development), as well as a number of independent consultants.

Craig Hanna, Training Director at Econsultancy, commented, “Interest in the MSc has been consistently strong over the last few months and the January start date adds an extra degree of flexibility for those planning on remaining in full time employment. Not only is the success of the new intake testament to the course’s relevance and establishment as the market leader, but it’s generated a great deal of ongoing demand with enquiries for September’s intake already well up on last year.”

The professional postgraduate marketing qualification, which was the first of its kind in the UK, is recognised for delivering practical, immediately applicable skills for the workplace in combination with rigorous academic support from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).

David Bird, Programme Director at MMU, said “We’re increasingly seeing places filled through referrals from current delegates, and the calibre of our applicants makes for an outstanding, active peer group, invaluable when studying for a professional qualification. That the course is now filling two intakes annually demonstrates that it is becoming established as the preferred option for anyone looking to gain credible qualifications in digital communication.”
