Dunfermline, ScotlandLearning NewseCom Learning Solutions

On Wednesday 29 February at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh the eHealth Scotland conference provides a timely opportunity to hear about what is happening with the delivery of Scotland’s new strategy for eHealth.

“Here in Scotland, eHealth has a pivotal role in enabling a radical e-transformation in the way in which high quality integrated healthcare services are delivered efficiently and effectively to people of all ages across our country.” Nicola Sturgeon MSP

eCom Scotland will be on hand to discuss its experiences and expertise in working within many pockets of the NHS in Scotland. For NHS Health Scotland, eCom was a part of the blended learning project ‘Improving Health: Developing Effective Practice (IH:DEP)’.

In conjunction with NHS Psychology Fife, eCom created the website www.moodcafe.co.uk designed to promote help on mental health issues across Fife, whilst its work with local Community Health Partnerships is both innovative and cost-effective. The ePrescriptions facility offers the public access to secure online ePrescription service, which has already received over 16,000 requests.

eCom is passionate about eLearning and technology and its most recent accolade is 'GOLD winner' for 'Excellence in the Production of Learning Content' at the 2011 eLearning Age Awards, a reflection of its commitment to best practice eLearning.
