eCom has recently been awarded a tender on Understanding NHS procurement, a public facing portal targeted at SME’s on how to procure for the NHS.

The key objectives of the project are: to demystify and explain the way the NHS buys supplies and services; to help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) find opportunities and understand how to respond to them effectively; to facilitate high quality bids for NHS work from a broad range of small- and medium-sized suppliers

The project will incorporate four eLearning modules:

Module 1 : Understanding NHS Procurement’ eLearning tool

Module 2 : ‘Methods of Procurement’ in the ‘Understanding NHS Procurement’  eLearning Tool

Module 3 :  Tender Timeline’ in the ‘Understanding NHS Procurement’ eLearning Tool

Module 4 : ‘Finding Opportunities’ in the ‘Understanding NHS Procurement’ eLearning Tool

Each module will take between thirty to forty minutes to complete with all learning managed and tracked within eCom’s Learning Management System, eNetLearn. The modules will be live and accessible by summer 2012.
