“Global learning requires global solutions. We will explore what Amazon Web Services (Amazon Polly, Amazon Lex and Amazon Rekognition) offers, how it can help distribute learning and how this can save you dollars.” Matt Wicks, CEO of The Virtual Forge.

Matt Wicks will be giving a seminar at Learning Technologies 2017, a free event in London, for all L & D professionals. The seminar will discuss the benefits of Amazon web services, in relation to global learning. This talk we will explore how Amazon Polly (turning text into lifelike speech using deep learning), Amazon Lex (building conversational interfaces into any application) and Amazon Rekognition (deep learning based image recognition) can help to deliver a global learning solution in a new and dynamic way.

Dreamtek and The Virtual Forge provide digital solutions for both corporate and creative companies, and are a certified consulting partner for Amazon Web Services. This partnership enables users to benefit from the security, reliability and flexibility of one of the world leading cloud service providers; a service that lets users choose their own operating system and only pay for what they use.

Alongside this, the user benefits from comprehensive project management and hands-on technical support, from the team of developers at Dreamtek and The Virtual Forge.

Revolutionary studio solution, the Broadcastpod

At this year’s event, Dreamtek will also be showcasing the revolutionary Broadcastpod, including social broadcasting, webcasting and corporate video services. Dreamtek’s forward thinking approach to content, broadcasting, and their state of the art video technologies, sees them at the forefront of the constantly evolving face of visual media.

The Broadcastpod was developed as a solution for customers who don’t have the space or budget to build a full-blown acoustically sound studio or convert an existing room into a studio.

Tired of hiring in an expensive production crew and kit? With the Broadcastpod it’s no longer a problem. It's a stand-alone fully integrated studio solution that is custom fitted with a broadcast-quality HD camera, built-in teleprompter, automated lighting and simple to use workflow software system. It also boasts an acoustically treated air conditioning system that is designed for Broadcast studios.

Fitting into any office space at only 2.8m2 this self contained studio is one of a kind. It’s so easy to use, no technical ability required, just follow the instructions and be broadcasting in minutes.

The interior of the Broadcastpod is acoustically treated so can be used in heavy footfall areas and still give excellent quality recordings. With optional extras available for integration with existing video conferencing, web conferencing, virtual classrooms, even live broadcast, the Broadcastpod is limitless.
