New website from leading UK training provider offers visitors and users a more interactive and participatory experience, thanks to its responsive design in order that they might exchange knowledge, information and receive support for their training and L&D issues. Site also includes a social learning forum and live online chat feature.

Creativedge Training & Development is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, designed to offer visitors and users a more interactive and participatory experience to exchange knowledge, information and receive support for their training and L&D issues.

Created with the user experience firmly in mind, the website has been developed using responsive design so that the site is compatible with today's browsers and mobile devices, and without the need for Adobe® Flash.  By doing so, it is hoped the site will deliver a better cross-device experience for the end-user.

As Mark McCormack, Creativedge Business Development Manager, explains, “We’ve seen a huge increase in the number of clients accessing Creativedge Training on handheld devices, so we wanted our website experience to be streamlined and easy to use, no matter where or how this is done. The responsive design gives people an optimal viewing experience, thanks to a greater ease of reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling. The site is fluid, meaning the content moves freely across all screen resolutions and all devices. And while content is always king, visitors also want to access information on any website through the device of their choice easily, and at any time. Our website needs to meet this demand.”

New features

As well as continuing to provide visitors with information about its range of courses delivered across the  five disciplines of Management and Leadership, Personal Performance, Business Skills, Communication, and Customer Service & Sales, the website will also include the following new features:-

  • An online live chat feature, enabling visitors to the site to speak to Creativedge staff directly.
  • Social Learning Forum – a social collaboration tool available to participants who have attended training courses and programmes to share ideas, best practice, and to communicate directly with their trainer.
  • Case studies from leading UK and international companies about their staff training.
  • Monthly e-newsletter.
  • New, weekly blogs offering practical, useful advice addressing a variety of workplace training issues.
