New review-based website helps high quality training providers stand out from the crowd

Coursecheck.com is a ratings and reviews website for training courses in the UK. For training providers, it’s also a comprehensive system for collecting customer feedback. People can find highly rated courses on Coursecheck and for training providers, it’s a powerful marketing tool that helps them make the most of their feedback and show just how good they really are.

For companies offering traditional classroom courses, e-learning or virtual delivery, Coursecheck is a new way to collect feedback. What’s different about it is that every rating and comment is displayed on coursecheck.com for anyone to see.

Chris Wigglesworth, founder, explains: “The idea came from my previous business where we trained around 2,000 people every year in our London Training Centre. We regularly got fantastic feedback and we got it from almost everyone we trained. Yet at the same time, we found it difficult to market our training services. We knew how good we were but we just couldn’t prove it.”

“As an employer, I also saw it from the customer side. We used to send our own staff on external training courses and had no means of assessing whether a course might actually be a good one. Unsurprisingly, employees were often disappointed and precious training budget was wasted. These days, good feedback is an incredibly valuable asset and if companies have it, they should make the most of it. The problem is that if a company publishes testimonials, everyone knows they’re being selective. People want a complete picture so reviews need to be on an independent website and every single review should be there.”

Coursecheck is working in partnership with the Learning & Performance Institute and will be exhibiting at LEARNING LIVE 2014.
