Major Legal Firm Wins IT Awards with REDTRAY Support
One of the leading law organisations in the UK, Hill Dickinson, won two awards this year at the premier event for the legal technology community known as TheKnowList.
The firm received the awards for Business project of the year and IT team of the year for its Red October project, designed to improve system availability and user experience by re-engineering Hill Dickinson’s IT infrastructure. Training provider REDTRAY provided vital support to Hill Dickinson throughout the project.
“We have never applied for TheKnowList awards before. Our motivation this year was a recent major infrastructure project which included the transformation of our IT training department achieved with REDTRAY’s help”, says Keith Feeny, IT & Operations Director at Hill Dickinson. “It is this year that everything changed for the better in our IT learning team. We went from having reactive trainers to a coherent team focused upon actively improving IT skills in our firm.”
The organisations launched their strategic partnership in July last year, with the aim to improve work efficiency at Hill Dickinson through the development of IT skills and by creating employee training experiences. Since the beginning of the project nine months ago, the firm has already reported many positive achievements, which include the two awards.
Mr. Feeny adds, “We realise that ‘IT know-how’ adds a huge value to the services our lawyers deliver to our clients and we’re working on our vision to be regarded as one of the most IT literate law firms in the world. We couldn’t be more delighted to have won the awards.”
Pat Coates, Business Development Director at REDTRAY, sees the latest achievements of this client as an outcome of good working relationship between the two organisations. He believes that by winning the two IT awards this year, Hill Dickinson is proving the firm is on its way to achieving their goal.
