BTL publishes case study illustrating its involvement in TDA QTS Tests
BTL Group Ltd today published a case study covering its involvement in QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) tests; provides a detailed account of the requirements set by TDA (Training and Development Agency for Schools).
The case study provides a detailed account of the requirements
set by the TDA (Training and Development Agency for Schools) for
the QTS tests and how these were met by BTL.
The QTS skills test programme is one of the largest and longest
running e-Assessment programme of its kind, with over 30,000
candidates each year taking over 100,000 tests in Numeracy,
Literacy and ICT. Passing these skills tests is one of the
standards that all trainee teachers in England have to meet before
they can be recommended for the award of QTS by their ITT (Initial
Teacher Training) provider.
In 2003, BTL was selected to develop the content for the QTS tests
in partnership with a content authoring partner and third party
delivery partner. BTL was recently awarded a further 3 year
contract by the TDA, to develop QTS test content.
