First Ethical Hacking ATP License Issued

7Safe's university-accredited IT Security education series is now available in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland following Ashfield Computer Training's acceptance as the first Accredited Training Partner (ATP).

7Safe's university-accredited IT Security education series is now available in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland following Ashfield Computer Training's acceptance as the first Accredited Training Partner (ATP).

The cutting edge education programme, administered by IT Security experts 7Safe and renowned learning Institution University of Glamorgan, is to be provided at Ashfield's campus in Templeogue, South Dublin.

Courses available from Ashfield include:


CSTA Ethical Hacking: Hands-On
CSTP Ethical Hacking: Hands-On 2
CFIA Forensic Artefacts: Hands-On
WiFi Security: Hands-On
Implementing ISO 27001

These courses can be taken separately, leading to highly sought-after professional qualifications when combined with distance-learning University assessments. These courses also contribute Masters-level credits toward to the world's first Postgraduate Certificate in Penetration Testing and Information Security.

7Safe's Managing Director Alan Phillips revealed that Ashfield Computer Training were a driving force behind the creation of the Accredited Training Partner scheme. "Ashfield contacted both 7Safe and the University of Glamorgan earlier in 2006 to enquire whether it would be possible for them to provide the courses due to the market demand for credible IT security qualifications."

Ashfield Computer Training's Managing Director Eileen McGinn said, "Once we experienced the quality of this training, which is produced by practicing professionals, we realised that it was the best training available for our clients". Earlier this month, Ashfield successfully completed the rigorous ATP approval process and they are now poised to deliver these prestigious courses in September / October 2006.
