5app appoints Philip Huthwaite as CEO
5app, an award-winning learning and communications platform, has announced the appointment of Philip Huthwaite as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 4th September 2024.
Huthwaite was previously Chief Executive at BlackCurve, a venture-backed pricing technology business. This followed previous roles as Chief Revenue Officer at Innoware, leading their Learning Management System (LMS) product portfolio, and Management Consultant at Accenture, delivering business transformation to FTSE 100 companies. He brings a wealth of experience in transforming early-stage businesses.
Philip is known for providing a blend of strategic leadership, as well as hands-on expertise across sales, marketing and product development. His appointment comes at a pivotal time for 5app as the company accelerates its product offering and market presence, with a mission to become the number one home for business learning, knowledge and communications.
