Day two of the conference is opened by keynote speaker, Louise Brownhill, Chief Learning Officer at PwC, as she explores What defines a strong learning culture, while later in the day Ben Betts, CEO of HT2, will present a session on Campaign learning: your strategy to deliver performance support.
Nick Shackleton-Jones, Director, Learning & Performance Innovation, PA Consulting Group, will present A new approach to learning design. A well-known voice in the world of L&D, Nick will educate delegates in the evolution ‘from courses to resources.’
Topics of increasing importance to the L&D community, Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence will be covered by speakers including Chris Littlewood, Chief Scientific Officer at Filtered.
Factual Director of the BBC Academy Charles Miller, will join Nitin Thakar, Managing Director of eLearning Studios as Nitin shares his most successful experiences of using VR training across organisations like the BBC, British Gas and Deloitte.
Returning for his third year as Conference Chair is author and L&D expert Robin Hoyle. In his closing keynote presentation, Robin will examine what it takes to create an effective learning environment.

New to World of Learning for 2017, eLearning Studios (ELS) will be hosting the VR Suite within the exhibition. An additional chance to get hands on with technology is offered at the Technology Test Drive, while Learning Design Live will be of interest to those involved in the design of learning technology. This conference of seven seminars will cover topics such as Designing digital learning for the post-SCORM world and Design hacks to drive learning culture.
With the introduction this year of the Apprenticeship Levy, experts will be on hand in the Apprenticeship Zone to provide guidance on running an apprenticeship programme which delivers optimum results for business.
