WillowDNA's innovative approach to blended online learning has helped them secure their place son the 2013 e-Learning Awards shortlist, with programmes that feature online communities, social learning and mobile companions.

Working together, Initiative and WillowDNA created an integrated approach to their key learning needs. The tools employed included social media tool, Yammer and WilllowDNA's Pathway platform to serve up the learning objects.

This approach has proved immensely popular by this demanding group. Feedback has been excellent and the overall confidence level within the company is much higher. A growing number of internal case studies illustrate the value of this confidence in terms of business value.

There are now over 500 people in the community. That's a lot of brain power! Over 1000 people have experienced the learning. Says Joanna Foyle, "Previously, people rarely talked about Matrix. Now there is dialogue every day. Understanding how learning works and placing the learning within the community has made such a difference. WillowDNA have been part of our team, working with us. Our aims have been the same, to support Initiative to make success of our clients' businesses."

The IPA have secured a place in the shortlist for the second year running, this time for their innovative approace to legal complaince, delivered through their LegRegs certificate.  Richard Lindsay, Legal Director at the IPA explains the concept behind the programme;

"The IPA LegRegs Certificate has been developed in conjunction with the advertising law specialists at Lewis Silkin to help advertising practitioners get to grips with the basic legal and self-regulatory issues that underpin the industry. It is sensibly constructed, easily digested and quickly completed - essential for anyone hoping to progress in advertising without falling foul - or causing their clients to fall foul - of legal or regulatory problems that they ought to have avoided."

The winners will be announced at the gala dinner on the 7th November at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
