Gold award winners for distance learning at Learning Technologies 2013 - WillowDNA

Bristol, UKLearning NewsWillowDNA

Having been awarded the much sought after Gold Award for Online Distance Learning at the 2012 e-Learning Awards, WillowDNA will be sharing practical lessons from their work with professional and accrediting bodies at this year’s Learning Technologies exhibition.

Delivering credible online learning in complex subjects to critical learners is becoming essential to many organisations, especially those seeking an international reach. The WillowDNA team will be available to share our approach as well as the pitfalls - relevant for learning professionals who have responsibility for training delivery for vocational courses, CPD, certification, senior professionals in corporates, technical specialists or subjects that need careful treatment for the public.

As part of the show's popular seminar programme, Debbie Lawley, Managing Director at WillowDNA will explore how to achieve 'best in class' distance learning. This seminar is likely to be highly popular with those seeking to take accreditation and certification programmes online, organisations developing online academies and for HE providers wishing to extend their learning to wider audiences, including internationalisation. Lisa Minogue-White, Head of Learning Solution will also be available on Stand 117 to discuss methods of engagement, social learning techniques, and to discuss the importance of the learning platform.  There will also be regular demos of their cloud based LMS, Pathway.

The seminar will take place on the second day of the show:

Date: Wednesday 30th January

Time: 14.45

Place: Theatre 2
