One of the most important skills to master in online learning is transforming raw materials into a great learning path design. In the first of a series of downloadable guides, Willow explores great practice in creating learning paths.

Lisa Minogue-White, Head of Product Development at WillowDNA annouced the release of the first of its free tools, taken from its one day workshop '5 Days to Success'.  Explaining why these tools were developed, Lisa said: "As we work as learning partners with our clients, a core part of our relationship is upskilling learning professionals in how to develop great online learning themselves. So these free resources are a great way to share some of the lessons we've learnt along the way with the wider learning community."

The first of these tools explores how to develop learning path designs, through understanding how to get the most from raw materials from which an online progeamme is developed. As well as Willow's experience in developing online CPD and professional skills programmes, the resources draw upon the work of Gilly Salmon, PVC Learning Transformations at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne and insights from Clive Shepherd's new book 'Digital Learning Content: A Designer's Guide'.

The first tool is available to download from the WillowDNA website.
