Virtual College and DPG create state of the art human resources management programme
Leading online learning provider, Virtual College, has partnered with CIPD training experts DPG, to create an engaging, 100% online human resources management suite.
As a result of a successful bid tender, DPG tasked Virtual College to help create a programme to support CIPD level 5 HR Management qualifications.
The programme is ideal for individuals and teams who are looking to advance their careers and develop human resources capability. The approach provides great flexibility to balance work and personal commitments as you can study from the comfort of your own home whilst receiving fantastic support.
Virtual College has designed and delivered a completely online learning resource for the CIPD level 5 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Human Resources Management. As it is totally online, learners can now work at their own pace to fit around their busy lives.
The resulting content incorporates a blend of video, e-learning content, e-books, podcasts and documents and uses elements of gamification to increase motivation and competition.
This world-class learning experience introduces DPG’s ground-breaking and innovative ‘Business District’ where the learner is placed in a top HR Consultancy and immersed in real-life HR business simulations, with the chance to test and reinforce their learning across a variety of realistic business environments and scenarios.
Learners also benefit from their own personal facilitator, available to provide support every step of the way.
Enable, Virtual College’s cloud-based learning management system, provides access to the award-winning DPG online community and houses many of DPG’s existing learning materials.
Mike Collins, Content & Design Manager for DPG, commented:” We have challenged how HR qualifications have been designed to offer something completely different in the market. The use of these simulations and scenarios helps prepare HR professionals for the real world and the challenges they will face.
“We wanted to work with a strategic e-learning partner over the next 3 to 10 years to develop our programmes into cutting edge and market leading learning experiences.
“We chose Virtual College as they share our vision and have the experience and resources to meet our demanding requirements.”
