The Lean Healthcare Academy, leaders in the field of training, implementation and sustaining improvement activities across the health economy - is holding its annual Exhibition and Awards 2009 on November 12th.

The awards, open to members and non-members of the academy, have received over 100 applications each showcasing outstanding Lean projects from the last year.

Wendy Gauntley, Lean Healthcare Academy Manager said, "We are delighted with the response we've had and would like to thank everyone who submitted an application for their time and hard work. This year's event will see key people from every facet of the NHS and independent organisations, gather under one roof to celebrate improvements generated by Lean."

The judging panel, which includes the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, Yorkshire & Humber Strategic Health Authority and Yorkshire Forward, who are also all sponsoring the event, will now shortlist the applications. The shortlist will be announced on October 26th.

Although the awards are now closed, you can still book your place as a delegate and take part in the exhibition, workshops, networking, best practice sharing, three course dinner and awards ceremony.
