Saffron speaking at CEdMA workshop
Saffron's social media experts have been invited to speak at the 'Using Social Networking in Training' workshop hosted by CEdMA Europe (Computer Education Management Association - Europe) on Wednesday 8 September 2010.
CedMa is the premier organisation for training executives, managers and professionals, whose members include the training departments of 33 hardware and/or software vendors. CEdMA run frequent workshops and conferences on training and technologies and this half day workshop in Marlow will focus on what social media is and how it can be used to support training.
Saffron is at the forefront of harnessing social media platforms in the e-learning industry and a workshop with CEdMA is a valuable opportunity to share our knowledge. Phillip Bourne, Chairman of CEdMA Europe, explains 'We're keen to use social media for marketing and sales purposes, supporting the delivery of training, and creating and maintaining learner communities. But we need advice on how best to use these platforms to their maximum potential. We're thrilled that Saffron can provide guidance on the available tools and the challenges associated with using them, as well as how they can help CEdMA companies to move forward in social learning spheres.'
