QA, the UK’s leading training company, is now working with the Institute of Leadership and Management to deliver ILM-accredited training programmes.

The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) trains around 90,000 people each year – and ILM accreditation is a recognised benchmark of management skills.

QA is now an accredited ILM training centre, and is working with ILM to deliver ILM training courses in partnership. The courses offered by QA are mapped to the ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management and the ILM Level 5 Award in Management.

Learners on the courses benefit from ILM membership access to a rich range of additional resources, including guides, discounts, magazines and events.

Richard Nixon, QA’s programme manager for ILM, believes that the company’s adoption of ILM’s courses demonstrates how the training company embraces established standards. “We’ve always aligned our training programmes to recognised, published standards,” says Nixon, “because it offers customers confidence in the integrity of the training programme and resulting qualification.”

All of ILM’s qualifications are formally recognised on the Qualifications and Credit Frameworks in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scotland and Ireland are also recognised within their specific frameworks. The qualifications offered by QA include Management & Leadership.

“We’re very excited about the opportunity that offering ILM training creates for QA,” concludes Nixon. “We’re really the only training company with a complete end-to-end training solution for today’s organisations, and ILM training fits terrifically well with our established portfolio of management training courses.”
