QA-IQ launches new .NET 3.5 curriculum: Creates end-to-end skills solution

Learning NewsQA

QA-IQ has launched its new .NET 3.5 schedule with a full development path of courses from beginner to expert levels. The courses range from an introduction to .NET for those new to the framework, through language courses for both Visual Basic and C#, to application development and skills for those working with enterprise technologies.

Designed and developed by QA-IQ’s experts, the new range updates a number of QA-IQ’s most popular courses. The hands-on sessions provide objective content, including an in-depth view as well as hands-on hints and tips. The Skills Path developed combines both QA-IQ’s own Performance courses, developed by our expert instructors and technologists, and key courses from the Microsoft Official Curriculum to provide the broadest possible range of skills and an end-to-end development path.

Director of Technical Education at QA-IQ, Jeff Barnes, explains; “We’re really excited about this new range of courses, and attendees will soon discover that they’re as effective and hands-on as our popular .NET 2 portfolio. When .NET 2 was launched, we experienced significant demand for the Accelerated Migration course for experienced developers, and I fully expect to see this again as the many .NET developers working in the UK seek to quickly update their skills.”

Learning Consultant at QA-IQ, and .NET expert, Dan Forster adds; “I’m very excited about .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008. There are so many new developer features, including AJAX and JavaScript (intellisense and debugging) LINQ and also a new CSS designer, not to mention the great support for Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Workflow Foundation (WF). There’s no excuse for not getting the job done now!”
