Xpertise, the most progressive provider of IT Training in the UK, has been short-listed for the 2006 Institute of IT Training – Training Company of the Year.

The IITT 'Training Company of the Year' is a prestigious award which recognises those companies which are demonstrable leaders in IT Training. Xpertise has been selected for its excellence across all aspects of its IT training and services solutions, including: sales and marketing, product development, delivery of service, quality controls and staff development.

Bob Simms, senior trainer at Xpertise, has also been short-listed in the category of IT Trainer. Bob’s nomination confirms his ability to deliver a strong learning experience, as has been recently demonstrated when Bob delivered technical training to Microsoft’s partners in the Visual Studio 2005.

Ian Johnson, managing director at Xpertise, commented: "We are delighted to have been nominated again by the IITT for these awards, which further endorse our position as the most progressive provider of IT training in the UK. At Xpertise, our culture is to strive to be the best in everything we do; to ensure that our customers enjoy the best possible experience when Xpertise helps them to develop their IT skills and increase IT productivity."

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Xpertise being awarded Microsoft's Certified Learning Solution Partner of the Year for EMEA - the award which recognises the excellence of service, and quality of training, provided by Xpertise to its customers.

"Absolutely everyone at Xpertise has contributed to us being short-listed for these awards. It's not only confirmation of our position as market leader, but is also a tribute to each and every person at Xpertise," concluded Johnson.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by international TV personality Lucy Alexander, at The Dorchester, in Park Lane, London, on 2 February 2006.
