QA Selected by Microsoft to Launch New ‘Jumpstart’ Programme
QA, the UK’s largest independent provider of training and consulting, today announces the availability of a series of one-day ‘Jumpstart’ clinics on Windows Server 2003.
‘Jumpstart’ clinics are designed to help IT professionals and IT managers evaluate the new technologies for their organisations. The instructor led, hands-on courses, principally focused on migration from NT 4.0 to Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory, will explore the business and technical benefits of the technology and provide an overview of new features.
The launch of the UK Jumpstart programme follows the successful roll-out of the clinics in the United States. The one-day format at a cost of £100 per clinic provides clients with a cost-effective means of evaluating the technologies.
Ram Dhaliwal, Training and Certification Manager at Microsoft commented, “As a global Microsoft award-winner for training expertise, QA has the in-depth understanding and experience to manage these intensive, hands-on sessions that will give organisations insight into how Windows Server 2003 technology can help their business be more effective.”
Jon Shepstone, Head of Strategic Alliances at QA said of the initiative: “QA is proud to be supporting the rapid and effective implementation of these new Microsoft technologies.
“With the end of NT 4.0 support imminent, many organisations are investigating upgrade choices. The Jumpstart programme will help our clients understand the migration process to Windows Server 2003 and enable them to make informed decisions about the best approach for their organisations.”
