Demand for training prompts recruitment drive at QA

A growing need for training across a wide range of technical and professional skills subject areas has created a demand for skilled trainers and support staff at QA, the UK’s leading independent provider of training and consulting.

Over the six months to November 2004, requirements from QA clients for Project Management, Service Management (ITIL), Business Systems Analysis, Java and Oracle training have increased by up to 40%. As a result, QA requires instructors with extensive experience in any of these subject areas to join QA’s team of 70 permanent instructors.

All QA instructors have considerable industry experience and are Institute of IT Training certified. Many trainers are leaders in their specialist field who speak regularly at industry conferences and publish articles in trade or academic publications.

QA currently has approximately 15 vacancies for talented instructors, managers and support staff.

“We have seen exciting growth across key areas of our training portfolio including PRINCE2, .NET, Java and Oracle,” commented Denise Carmichael, Head of General Training Operations at QA. “We need people who have a passion for their area of expertise and a desire to share that knowledge”.
