Matthew Lloyd, CEO of Omniplex Group, announces the company’s expansion in the China market. Since the opening of the office, Omniplex China has gained several new clients including China Lottery, Beijing Language and Culture University, Hewlett-Packard, Associated British Food, Bank of East Asia, Tp-link, and ASUS. This growth has spurred the need for additional staff and therefore office space. Omniplex China completed the move to their new location in the Xicheng District of Beijing, China, in December 2016.
Sophia Xing is the Country Manager, bringing her many years of eLearning experience. With the goal of leveraging and expanding Omniplex’s global solutions, Xing leads the day-to-day operations and is responsible for the development and execution of the local market strategy. Xing states “The eLearning market in China is growing. The scale of the market has experienced a steady growth since 2004 with an approximate average growth rate of 20%.”
Lloyd shares that “a further significant benefit of Omniplex establishing a presence in China is our ability to learn from the unique culture and context of the Asian market. A clear example of this is the more advanced adoption of mobile learning by Chinese organisations. We have already gained valuable experience delivering engaging, effective learning programmes across phones, phablets and tablets for a number of Chinese clients; experiences we share across our US and European teams.”
