OEB GLOBAL – Organisers Announce “Exciting” New Sponsors, Speakers and Exhibitors
Berlin-based conference organisers, ICWE GmbH, have announced the first crop of sponsors and exhibitors for this year’s OEB GLOBAL, Europe’s largest conference for the global learning and technology community, which will take place in Berlin from December 6 – 8. They have also released details of some confirmed speakers, who will lead discussions about ‘Learning Uncertainty,’ the theme of this year’s conference.

Under the theme of ‘Learning Uncertainty,’ OEB GLOBAL 2017 will focus on the new age of uncertainty set to follow the period of accelerating change within which we currently find ourselves. Keynote speakers will assess the implications for society, and for the education sector in particular, of a new era defined by technology, globalisation, information and, above all, uncertainty.
The conference will highlight ways in which transformative education, training and learning can equip policy-makers, businesses, organisations and individuals with the skills to survive and prosper in this new age of uncertainty. More than 2,300 participants from 100 countries are expected to take part in the event, along with over 80 international exhibitors.
Confirmed keynote speakers include Aleks Krotoski, Social Psychologist and Broadcaster at the Guardian, UK; Abigail Trafford, Author and Leader in the Movement to Fight Ageism, USA; Marc Prensky; Founder and Executive Director of the Global Future Education Foundation and Institute, USA; and Sanjay Sarma, Vice President for Open Learning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US.
