College of Digital Sciences (CDS) Pakistan this week announced that they have been issued with the "No Objection Certificate (NOC)" by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Pakistan for the NCC Education and London Metropolitan University BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems.

CDS dedicated a lot of resources into getting this official recognition which provides equivalence in Pakistan for the UK degree programme. Hundreds of CDS students, both present and past, will now find it easier to gain admitted into Pakistani government universities and also jobs within government organisations.

Hanif Akhtar, CDS Director, commented on the news, "The HEC committee visited our centre in December and we were delighted to receive the news this week that they have recommended the equivalence of the degree. The London Metropolitan University degree program has greatly benefited our students and, of course, the IT industry of Pakistan as well."

CDS was established in 1988 as a center of excellence in the modern discipline of Information Technology and Business Administration. It is committed to ensure quality education comparable with the international standards and lays great emphasis on quality. CDS has been a valued Accredited Partner of NCC Education since 1989 and has centres in Karachi and Rawalpindi.
