Mind Tools for Business has been shortlisted for two awards, ‘Excellence in the design of learning content – commercial sector (UK)’ and ‘Learning Designer of the Year’.

The Learning Technologies Awards recognise the commitment, enthusiasm, and passion for learning technologies across the world. Finalists are selected by an independent judging panel of experts organised by the Learning Network.

Excellence in the design of learning content – commercial sector (UK) - in partnership with Burberry

Mind Tools are proud to be shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in the design of learning content – commercial sector (UK)’ award for their partnership with Burberry. The award recognises ‘excellent content that enables learning in the commercial sector and looks at contribution made to individual learning and performance and the impact on organisational performance’.

The Learning Experience team at Mind Tools worked with Burberry to help them achieve their goal of ‘wanting every colleague to feel that they can bring their best selves to work – fostered by a true sense of belonging’. Through creating a series of 10-minute digital ‘Episodes’ they challenged colleagues to reflect on their bias and demonstrate allyship.

Learning Technologies Designer of the Year

Mind Tools Learning Experience Manager Ross Dickie has been shortlisted for 'Learning Technologies Designer of the Year'.  This award recognises the ‘contribution that learning designers make to the success of learning technologies projects’ and is assessed based on ‘consistent high quality and effective learning design over at least four years’.

“Ross is an internationally experienced learning designer, working with clients, learners, and subject matter experts across industries to create engaging e-learning and practical performance support tools. Through a combination of his approachable personality and sharp insight, he’s able to challenge clients to re-define the problems they face and puts the learner’s needs at the heart of every project. And as a host of The Mind Tools L&D Podcast, he’s become an authoritative voice in our industry with much still to offer.”
