Storytelling and Broadway Experience

Storytelling is one of the most important skills for you as a learning professional, for your colleagues as leaders, and for your organization.

You are invited to be part of a unique Experiment and Experience in Storytelling Skills – leveraging the power and science of Broadway Theater.

Come to New York City on Wednesday, October 2nd and be an active learner for a daylong exploration of Storytelling Skills for Work.

We will combine the musical magic of an afternoon orchestra seat at “Come from Away” on Broadway with an intense, interactive, and skill-focused experience about Storytelling, led by producer and learning guru Elliott Masie (The Prom, SEARED), Broadway star Telly Leung (Aladdin, Allegiance), and veteran communications strategist Emily McGill (The Lion King, A Raisin in the Sun):

Storytelling & Broadway: Leadership Experience
Wednesday, October 2, New York City
Morning: Storytelling @ Work Perspectives
Afternoon: Orchestra Seat at "Come from Away" on Broadway
Wrap-Up and Debrief: After Show and Via Video
Plus: TED Talks Book and Storytelling@Work Guides

Broadway Directors, Actors, Writers, and Corporate Storytellers will share new and dynamic approaches to Storytelling in this hands-on, heart-in, and deeply practical experience.  And, then “Come From Away” will demonstrate heartwarming stories that happened in the small town of Gander, Canada immediately after the 9/11 attacks, where 38 planes and 7,000 stranded travelers landed unexpectedly.

Join us as we explore the skills and impact of storytelling at work from the perspectives of Broadway theatre professionals.

Registration and information about the Storytelling & Broadway Experience are at Masie.com/Storytelling.
